The Subcommittee for Israel Advocacy and Response to Antisemitism (SIARA)
- Goals: To advocate respectfully and knowledgably for Israel as a Jewish homeland. To teach Israel’s history and policies to each other, our congregants and to other groups. To investigate and have an organized response to antisemitism in Chester County and neighboring areas.
- If you believe Israel is our Jewish homeland and you are shocked and angry about the current rise of antisemitism, come to our first meeting in the Synagogue chapel on Sunday January 21, 2024 at 9:45 am.
- No prior knowledge is required. Prerequisites include a respect for others who may have opinions different from your own, a willingness to learn and listen, and a commitment to work with committee members on these issues.
